The old rivalry is reignited in Sports Centre
for the first time since 2000!
Our Men's Club team and our Women's Superleague team play back to back in the Sports Centre for the first time!
Our Men's Varsity team reach the D1 League semifinal for the first time since divisions were introduced to College Basketball.
Our Men's BIDL team reach the BIDL semifinal in their first year in the competition.
Trinity Basketball took part in the first ever Wheelchair Basketball taster session in
Trinity College!
Our newly established Development Teams took part at Colours and the Paris Trip.
Two action packed days of basketball in the sun to introduce new members to our club.
A new format for our 3x3 Leagues is established in collaboration with Trinity Sport.
Our Men's club team compete in the Irish
National League for the first time.
New Development Teams are introduced after high numbers of attendees at Varsity trials.
Our Men's fresher team compete in a tournament with UCD and DCU in Trinity Sports Centre.
A collaboration with Trinity Basketball,
Trinity College and the City Council.
A new position in collaboration with Trinity Sport, Basketball Ireland and the City Council is established designed to help grow basketball in Trinity College and the North East Inner City of Dublin.
Trinity Sports Centre is named a Basketball
Ireland Centre of Excellence
Trinity Meteors win the Women's Division 1
league and earn promotion to the
highest level in Irish basketball.
It laid the foundation for the creation of NEIC Trojans.
Trinity was one of five founding teams competing at Portobello Barracks in Dublin in the first-ever Irish college basketball championship

Our Women's Varsity team was awarded the Team of the Year award after their stellar undefeated season winning both Varsities and the League.
Our club was awarded the Communications
and Impact for our stellar social media
presence all year round!
Our Women's Varsity team were named co-winners of the Performance of the Year award alongside Men's Soccer (DUAFC) for their fantastic win and tournament at Varsities.
Sarah Kenny was awarded a Pink, one of Trinity’s highest sporting honours, recognising her exceptional achievements and contributions to Trinity Basketball and Trinity Sport. She represented Ireland at international level, earned multiple All-Star selections, and played a key role in securing Varsity and League victories for the club.
Shane Maughan was awarded the Coach of the Year award for leading our Men's club team and varsity team to a historic Quintuple!
Edel Thornton was named the Sports Person of the Year after her amazing season representing Ireland and Trinity Meteors
Manus Darby was awarded the Alum of the
Year award for his incredible work to
help the club as an alumni!

A University Pink is one of Trinity College Dublin’s highest sporting honours. It recognises exceptional athletes who have excelled in representing the university, often at national or international level, and who have made significant contributions to their sport and the college community. Receiving a Pink is a mark of both sporting achievement and dedication.

Tickets for Trinity Meteors (our Super League women’s team) are available at the door on game day. We recommend arriving early as these fixtures can get busy!
