Sports Ball & Awards

Every May, Trinity Basketball looks forward to one of the biggest and most glamorous nights of the year: the Trinity Sports Awards & Ball. 

Organised by Trinity Sport, this spectacular event is a true highlight of the sporting calendar, bringing together athletes from all sports clubs 

across Trinity College for a night of celebration and unforgettable memories.

The evening begins with a lively reception in the Pavilion Bar, where friends, teammates, and fellow athletes gather for drinks and photos in a gorgeous setting. From there, we move to the iconic Dining Hall for a delicious dinner and the main event—the awards ceremony. It’s a special moment as the college honours the dedication, talent, and successes of Trinity’s sporting community. Over the years, Trinity Basketball has been proud to receive numerous nominations and awards, 

reflecting our hard work and achievements on and off the court. But the night doesn’t end there!

 Once the awards have been handed out, we head off to a nightclub to finish the celebrations, ensuring that the year ends on a high note.

The Sports Awards & Ball is a black-tie event, so everyone comes dressed to impress, creating an elegant and festive atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the season, celebrate the year’s accomplishments, and make lasting memories with teammates and friends from across Trinity’s sporting community.
