This year, Trinity Basketball launched our first-ever Scavenger Hunt, and it’s quickly become one of our most exciting and entertaining events! We ran it in collaboration with the Canoe and Kayak Club and the Squash Club, it’s all about fun, adventure, and making memories around Dublin.
The scavenger hunt is open to absolutely everyone—you don’t need to be part of our club or even a Trinity student. You can join as a team with friends or sign up individually and be assigned to a team, making it a fantastic way to meet new people and forge friendships.
Teams race around Dublin completing a series of fun and often hilarious challenges, like building the largest human pyramid, straight-arming a pint, snapping
a selfie with a bus driver, or finding someone named Philip. The challenges change every year and are only revealed on the night,
adding a brilliant element of surprise and competition.
At the end of the hunt, everyone regroups in a pub, where we tally up the points and crown the winners. There are great prizes not just for the top-scoring team,
but also for the funniest photos and videos, ensuring everyone has a chance to take home something special.
One of the highlights is our photo and video montage of the night’s best moments, where we all get to laugh together at the silly,
spontaneous, and downright outrageous antics captured on camera.
Whether you’re competitive or just in it for the laughs, the scavenger hunt is a brilliant night of team-building, adventure,
and unforgettable memories with the Trinity Basketball community!
